| The
West Sandy Community Association's first fundraiser, "Country Cooking at
It's Best" supper was held on Saturday, July 9, and was an overwhelming
success. We had a phenomenal crowd! Delma Shelly, our Treasurer, will give
a full report of the proceeds at our next meeting. Thanks so much to
Margaret White for planning and arranging the details of the supper and to
all of the members who so graciously contributed food dishes, funds, time
and effort. Special thanks are due to the San Jacinto School veteran
students and teacher who so generously shared their anecdotes and memories
in an entertaining after- supper program. I'm sure it will be a night
remembered well by all those who attended. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, July 28. Everyone is welcome! We look forward to seeing you there! Evelyn McDaniel |
